I was born in 1956 right here in Geneva, Ohio.  I have a lovely wife, Robin, whom I married in 2002, a handsome step-son Michael and a pretty step-daughter Melissa. Also I married into two beautiful granddaughters, Haley and Taylor, for whom I would walk through fire for.   As you have heard we have two pets, Duke the WonderDog and Buddy the Crippled Cat who both think that every piece of furniture is their personal bed. 

    I started at WKKY in the early 90's, when while working at Jewels' Dance Hall, I was asked by the management of WKKY if I wanted to do a Request Show. Well I jumped at the chance and came up with the Saturday Night Request Roundup which was a lot like the current Afterwork Request Lounge.  After doing that for four years the morning spot with Garth opened up and I took the job. It is nice to work one mile from home! How did I get the name Hoss? I was taking line dance lessons at Jewel's Dance Hall about 12 years ago,and a kid said that I reminded him of Hoss, the dance instructor, Loretta, thought it fit me and it just stuck with me since.
