The NBA Hall-of-Famer couldn’t help but think of one player in particular when the logo emerged on social media.
Pro basketball Hall of Famer Grant Hill spent six of his 19 professional seasons in Detroit with the Pistons.
Hill was selected with the third overall pick by the Pistons in the 1994 draft out of Duke, and earned his stripes in the league with Detroit.
Hill averaged 21.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists on 47.6% shooting from the floor, and made five of his seven career all-star appearances as a member of the Pistons.
So it’s no surprise then that Hill chimed in on a viral tweet that displayed the old-school Pistons logo.
Hoop Central put out a tweet on Friday displaying the logo, while asking which Pistons player came to mind when seeing it.
Hill, without missing a beat, tweeted out “Me.”
All these years later, Hill still has an affinity for the old-school logo of the first pro team he ever played for.
