Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s 13-year-old son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., is following in his father’s footsteps, reportedly signing a deal to join Al-Nassr’s Under-13 team, per Fabrizio Romano.
Ronaldo Jr.’s young soccer career is already mirroring his father’s prodigious path. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner began the journey of his professional career at age 12 when he joined Sporting CP in Portugal. His son will also wear No. 7, just like him.
A quote resurfaced from Ronaldo after the news dropped on Thursday.
“My son tells me: dad, hold on a few more years, I want to play with you,” Ronaldo said.

The 38-year-old will have to hold on a few more years, like his son said, to have a chance to play with his offspring. Ronaldo himself was promoted to the senior league at age 16, meaning Ronaldo Jr. could be in a similar spot in three years.
Ronaldo joined the Saudi Arabian team back in Dec. 2022 after a two-year stint with Manchester United.
