Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase entered Monday night’s game against the Jaguars with bad intentions, and the third-year pro proceeded to leave his mark on the contest in a big way. Chase registered a game-high 149 receiving yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 34—31 overtime win at Jacksonville.
Chase celebrated his 76-yard touchdown in disrespectful fashion, slowing down and looking behind him at the trailing Jaguars defender. The Bengals wideout was asked about the play after the game, and he told reporters he had planned in advance to act like a “jerk” against the Jaguars.
In explanation of why Chase wanted to do so, he used two NSFW words. Check out his humorous answer below:

Chase said he told Bengals teammate Tee Higgins that he was going to do some “a–hole s—”, adding that he “felt like being an evil person” on Monday Night Football.
Jacksonville’s defense played right into Chase’s hands when it decided to defend him in man coverage with no help, a strategy that resulted in his long touchdown—and disrespectful celebration.
Cincinnati, with Pro Bowl quarterback Joe Burrow out for the rest of the year due to a wrist injury, marched into Jacksonville and kept its playoff hopes alive, thanks to a strong performance by backup Jake Browning.
Oh, and Ja’Marr Chase being evil.
