When Ohio State fans stormed the court after beating Iowa, 100—92, on Sunday, one Buckeyes supporter accidentally ran into Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark.
After the shocking overtime upset, Clark was jogging off the court away from the mob of jubilant Ohio State players celebrating their win in the middle of the Schottenstein Center. She was rammed by an incoming Buckeyes fan who didn’t seem to see Clark and was just trying to join Ohio State’s on-court victory huddle.
Clark was knocked down and stayed on the ground for a few moments. The fan looked in her direction but did not check if she was okay.
For people that wondered why Caitlin Clark always has multiple cops around her when the game isn't going on– it's to protect her from morons like that.

Clark thankfully didn’t suffer any serious injuries from the collision and later addressed the incident in the postgame media session.
“It was kinda scary. It could’ve caused a pretty serious injury to me and knocked the wind out of me,” Clark said on Sunday. “But their AD already came and apologized to me, so I really appreciate that. It was just what comes with the territory.”
