The San Francisco 49ers rallied back from a 17-point halftime deficit to beat the Detroit Lions, 34–31, in the NFC championship to set up a rematch with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
The second half was a frantic one for the 49ers, as they stormed back to take the lead and then were able to hold off the Lions after giving up a late touchdown in the final minutes.
Once the game was in hand, tight ends George Kittle and Charlie Woerner had a little fun when they saw the overhead camera was locked in on them.
