The Milwaukee Bucks traded center Robin Lopez to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, but the veteran big man is expected to be waived by Sacramento and become a free agent. After the move, Lopez posted the perfect reaction to his extremely brief tenure as teammates with new Bucks guard Patrick Beverley.
Lopez likely will latch on with a contender for the stretch run, but on Thursday night, he was still sitting courtside as his former Milwaukee teammates took on the Minnesota Timberwolves at Fiserv Forum.
Lopez was inactive after being traded and was sitting courtside … reading a book.
Yep, that’s right. Lopez, who is reportedly being waived by the Kings, had no reason to travel to Sacramento. So instead, he chose to go to the Bucks’ game and read a book instead as he awaits his next professional destination.

The book in question appears to be Backstory 2: Interviews with Screenwriters of the 1940s and 1950s, as deciphered by an astute observer on X, formerly Twitter.
