Jason “Pottsy” Potter
As the TV theme song sings, Pottsy has gone from “town to town, up and down the dial”
He started his radio career in 1991, at the age of 14, in a small northwest Pennsylvania town. Eventually, he finished high school, went to college, got married, had a couple kids, and moved to Northeast Ohio in 2006. Since then, he’s had stints in Oberlin, Akron, and Cleveland, before landing here in Geneva. He’s worked in rock radio, oldies radio, adult contemporary radio, smooth jazz radio, alternative radio, and country radio…on both the AM and FM dials.
When he isn’t on the air, he’s is what they call a “maker”. A craftsman, making things out of wood, metal, or plastic: From tables to crates; decorations to ornaments; custom brackets to custom storage solutions; signs for organizations to nameplates for desks. He’s a video editor, a musician, an electronics tinkerer, a solver of problems, and a maker of coffee.
