Eagles star Jason Kelce showcased his elite run-blocking skills early into Monday night’s matchup against his brother Travis and the Chiefs.
While supplying a downfield block for running back D’Andre Swift in the first quarter, Kelce could be seen easily disposing of a Kansas City defensive back who was attempting to make a tackle on the running back.
Veteran safety Justin Reid was placed in the unfavorable situation of being matched up one-on-one with Kelce, who wasted no time in delivering a devastating block.
Kelce was charging full speed downfield before picking up the block on Reid and tossing the safety to the side with ease, which opened up room for Swift to extend his run.
Fans on social media were awestruck by Kelce’s effortless blocking, praising his work in the trenches which often goes unnoticed.
